This year’s sale will be held on Saturday, June 10, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This is the same day as Graymoor-Devondale is having its annual yard sale.
If you are going to participate, it is recommended that you put up balloons and/or signs at your home.
Bancroft will place an ad in the Courier-Journal and post signs at streets leading into the city.
The Bancroft City Commission is looking for input on replacing city street signs. Residents of Bancroft should email Community Outreach Commissioner Matthew Tungate at communications@cityofbancroft.org with any input on which sign style you prefer. Or you can comment on the Bancroft Facebook group post here (closed group; requires membership).
Bancroft residents Mike Borders and Rick Rittenhouse were sworn in as city commissioners during the city’s monthly meeting Thursday, Jan. 12.
Borders, a 25-year resident of Bancroft, will serve as the commissioner for city maintenance. Rittenhouse, the city’s former ethics officer and a 16-year resident of Bancroft, will serve as commissioner of public services.

In an additional move on the board, communications and community outreach commissioner Matt Tungate was elected mayor pro tem.
