🎃Attention Residents! 👻
Tonight, the sugar-fueled mini-monsters will be unleashed! Trick-or-Treating is officially set for 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
A few friendly neighborly reminders:
• Porch Lights ON! Seriously, if your light is off, we assume you’re out of town and not home to appreciate the adorable costumed chaos. Don’t be “that house.”
• Slow Down! There will be tiny humans (some dressed as tiny superheroes) crossing streets with minimal regard for traffic laws. Drive like you’re transporting a precious cargo of delicate glass pumpkins.
Let’s keep our little corner of the world safe and spooky! Now go get those king-size candy bars ready. 😉

Tax Bill Reminder

ATTENTION City of Bancroft Residents!

This is a friendly reminder that all residents should have received by mail a copy of the recently passed annual tax and budget ordinances.

Please remember it is your responsibility to ensure your City of Bancroft taxes are paid prior to the due date, even if you feel you did not receive a copy.

Bancroft City Commission Reviews ARPA-Funded Lighting Study

The Bancroft City Commission is currently reviewing a comprehensive lighting study made possible by American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding. This initiative, aimed at enhancing our city’s lighting infrastructure, has been completed and the commission is now carefully considering the recommendations.

As part of this ongoing effort, the city is already in the process of upgrading our streetlights. Crews will be working to replace the existing bulbs with energy-efficient LEDs, which will provide brighter, more sustainable lighting throughout Bancroft. This upgrade is a crucial first step and will be completed before any further decisions are made based on the study’s findings.

Rumpke can take up to 1 large item per resident. If you have more, you will need to call it in for the next service day with the customer service toll free 1-800-828-8171 .
Keep in mind they don’t take hazardous materials, removal of freon if any refrigerated type appliances, and upholstered items must be wrapped in plastic per Jefferson County Health Code. Thank you!

Our annual Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt is happening on Bancroft Lane Sunday April 13th at 3:00 pm. We will meet up at the corner of Bancroft Lane and Old Salem Rd.

Bring your baskets and join your neighbors for a festive afternoon filled with eggs, treats, and plenty of fun for all ages.
